Frequently Asked Questions
How can I check on my pet during their stay?
We understand that you may well want to check in during your holiday to see how your pets are doing on theirs.
At point of drop off we will agree an update schedule with photos and notes. If there is anything else you want to know whilst you are away then drop us a message and we will respond within 24 hours.
My pet has a special diet. Can you accommodate their needs?
Absolutely, we realise the importance of maintaining your pet's diet and minimising any disruption to their routine. We would prefer you to bring your pet's own food with you so that they keep continuity.

If this isn't possible, we provide good quality pellets to keep your pet happy and well fed and always make a keep a record upon check in of any special dietary requests.
What is included with overnight boarding ?
Your pets are on their holiday too and will only be expecting the best too. Rabbits and guinea pigs have a constant supply of fresh water and hay, with daily carrot or dandelion leaf treats. Mice, hamsters and gerbils will have fresh water daily, a mix and treats such as small bits of apple or wood toys to help them with their teeth.
If there is something specific that your pet enjoys please tell us and we'll be happy to oblige.
Each pet guesthouse is cleaned out daily, and rabbits and guinea pigs are given daily exercise in a large, safe, fully enclosed run in the garden.
What happens if my own holiday plans change at the last minute ?
We aim to be as flexible as possible and completely understand that at times your plans may change or you may be delayed.
Don't panic, your pet will be enjoying themselves too and we will keep your pet safe and happy until you return.
We ask for a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the holiday cost to enable us to be so flexible.
We offer a pick up and drop off service too, so if you are stressed before you go away, or get delayed on return, or are straight back into the thick of normal life then we can pick your pet up from home and deliver your pet back to you safely upon your return for a small additional fee.

What pets are welcome at The Littlest Guest House ?
We have 8 spacious hutches specifically designed for guinea pigs and rabbits, with ample room for your pet to run around freely and get all the exercise that they need.
We have vast experience with many other small animals and pets, so please don't be afraid to ask how we can help accommodate your hamster or gecko- there is nothing we don't do!
