Fancy arriving at a simple field check of 6 sheep and 5 alpacas early on a Monday morning, to find 2 sheep completely wedged between a dry stone wall and a field shelter ? As nice as sheep can be, sometimes they lack common sense and despite all my braun there was no shifting the things.....the alpacas looked on in bemusement and after a few minutes of heave hoing, the grand reveal showed sheep number 3 trapped under sheep number 2 !! One deconstruction of the wall later and they were free.......until history repeated itself ......
The heavens opened on Thursday, 5 dogs and me looked like drowned rats trundling around the hills of the Calder Valley in hi viz gear and wellies.
This week we welcomed back Kaia for ad hoc dog walks, Tilly for new regular play sessions 3 times a week whilst her mum is at work and took a booking for 2 weeks of horse care and a cat home visit over next weekend.
Exciting times at The Littlest Guest House as we enjoy the autumnal colours - who'd want to swap this back for long days infront of Teams Meetings ?
